I don’t speak my mind about this often, but all I can say is; I’m disappointed with how Manson fans are treating him over the Hey Cruel World… Tour.

We aren’t living in 1997. This is 2012. Get over it. Fans are treating him just as they always have over the years - only, there’s no reason to this time. I can’t say whether or not he was drunk at the Sydney Soundwave OR the Brisbane Soundwave, I wasn’t there. But, from the videos I’ve seen? He sounds fantastic. Manson DRUNK is at Download Festival in 2009 or Rock am Ring 2009. Or the majority of the performances throughout that era.

His voice alone sounds far better than it did on the Rape of the World Tour and the High End of Low Tour combined. He hasn’t screamed this good since at least the Against all Gods tour back in 2004-2005. His stage presence is impeccable, and he alone looks fantastic with his make up and what he’s wearing. Manson’s not wearing that same t-shirt that he did during the High End of Low Tour.

To those who are complaining about the shortness in the set list.. it’s a festival! He’ll add more songs as the tour goes on! The set list alone is great. Antichrist Superstar is back - and Angel with the Scabbed Wings is most likely going to be added soon as well. The spoken version of 1996 is a rare treat. Most of all, for fans that complained that there was too much High End of Low songs on the last tour? He isn’t even performing any. Same with Eat Me, Drink Me. I, for one, am completely elated knowingly I have the opportunity to see the Man live on May 19th. I know I will not be disappointed.

Just my thoughts. If I lose followers over this, oh well. Manson’s my favorite artist and I’ve certainly criticized him over the years over certain things like any fan would -  but this is not something I’m criticizing over him on. Not yet, at least. I’m enjoying what I’ve been hearing from the videos and am impressed with the new line up - EVEN if there is no keyboardist.  The tour just fucking started. Leave him be.
